Buying guns online is both safe and easy, plus it saves you time and money. However, there are certain Federal and Local laws that must be obeyed. Federal Firearms Laws prevent us from shipping firearms directly to you. Instead, we ship any firearm purchased on our site to a Federal Firearms Licensed (FFL) Dealer in your area. Please note that at this time, due to CA DOJ issues, we are not shipping ANY handguns to California.

Here’s how it works:

  • Make your purchase online, ensuring you are following all state and local laws. For a listing of these laws, please visit the following link: Gun Laws.
  • Find an FFL dealer in your area that will accept the transfer of your firearm. Most dealers, which include sporting goods stores, pawn shops, gunsmiths and gun stores, are willing to do this for a nominal fee. If you have a dealer in mind, please enter their name and telephone number at checkout. If not, you can contact us after the sale to provide the dealer information. Please call us at 704-393-7124 and we’ll be glad to help you.
  • Have your dealer FAX or email us a copy of their valid and signed FFL form. Our FAX number is 704-394-0268. Emailed copies can be sent to sales@devmage.hyattpolice.com. IMPORTANT: Please make sure your dealer includes your Order ID#, as well as your name with the FFL. California orders also must include a CFD number.
  • Once we have received the FFL, we will ship your order to your dealer and you will receive a confirmation of shipment via email.
  • Once your dealer receives your firearm, they will contact you and you can complete all the necessary paperwork and pick up your firearm.

Store Pick-up

In the Charlotte, NC area? You can pick up your purchase up at our Retail Store. Simply select Store Pick-up under Shipping method at checkout. Once you submit your order, we'll process it and email you when it's ready to be picked up. There is no additional fee, aside from sales tax, to pick up guns or accessories purchased online. Please note that we can sell long guns (rifles and shotguns) to out-of-state residents from most states. Handguns must be picked up in the state in which you reside. For example: a South Carolina resident can purchase a rifle or shotgun in our retail store and take it home the same day, but a handgun would need to be shipped to a dealer in South Carolina.

Transfers

We'll be glad to transfer a gun you purchased from another dealer in our retail store. Please visit our Firearms Transfers Page for more information.

This is a French Napoleonic era Model AN XIII Flintlock Cavalry Pistol chambered in 69 caliber. It was produced by Maubeuge Arsenal in 1812 (according to the chamber and cartouche date). It features a 7.5-inch barrel, original flintlock action, large brass pistol butt cap, proofed round ball ram rod, and numerous proof/arsenal marks. The side plate sports in script "Maubeuge Manuf. Imp" and the rear top barrel flat "M . an 13". Overall, this antique is in great shape for a French Dragoon pistol made well over 200 years ago. The white steel show signs of pitting through the finish and the stock features bumps and scratches throughout. This would make a great choice for those looking to add a unique piece of history to their collection. This pistol does not feature a Serial Number however the bottom butt cap features the number 2 in script. These pistols were generally issued in pairs, so this maybe the second one issued in a pair. AN XII model Abridged History The Pistolet modèle An XIII was a flintlock cavalry pistol, in service in French units from 1806. It was mostly inspired by the Pistolet modèle An IX, which it succeeded, but also incorporated elements of the Navy pistolet modèle 1786, notably the barrel mountings. A critical difference between the Pistolet modèle 1777/1786's front barrel band and the one used on the Pistolet modèle An XIII was that instead of being pinned into place like the former, it was instead screwed into place and the barrel band was lighter weight; mostly solving the overheating problem the barrel band design caused in the Pistolet modèle 1777/1786. This variant was ultimately made to reduce the cost and simplify the weapon compared to the Pistolet modèle An IX while retaining similar reliability and ease of care as the previous pattern. Over 300,000 pistols were made, mostly between 1806 and 1814 in Charleville, Maubeuge and St-Etienne. The Pistolet modèle An XIII was designed to equip mounted units, each horseman using two pistols. It was also used by the Navy. Both the An IX and An XIII patterns co-existed for a time after initial introduction, however some of the An IX Pattern Pistols were upgraded to the An XIII standard. An improved version, known as the M1822, was produced after the Napoleonic Wars. They were kept in service well into the 1840s, at which date the pistols still in usage were converted to use percussion caps.
